Today marks the beginning of Donkey Week. This year, the donkey week runs from 12 to 18 May 2021. This is a week-long event celebrating the amazing lives and benefits of donkeys to mankind. As we celebrate this special week, we would like to highlight the work we have been doing in improving the lives of donkeys.

Protecting and strengthening donkey hooves helps avoid additional health issues, discomfort, and pain in donkeys as well as potential long-term implications. Attending to the feet of donkeys is one of the basic health care practice which helps donkeys to carry their day-to-day tasks with ease.

Rabies kills 

Every year, an estimated 59 000 people worldwide die of one of the oldest diseases known to man: rabies. Rabies is caused by infection from a lyssavirus. The disease is named after Lyssa, the Greek spirit of madness, frenzy, and rage, vividly evoking the horror of a rabid death.

You'll find us in Kanengo-Roberts/Area 28, on the outskirts of Lilongwe city. When driving from the city center/Lilongwe town on the M1, just passed Area 30 police, turn at Total filling station, then take your second turn to the right, then first turn left, and about 300 metres you'll see our signpost.
