We would like to thank these two amazing young ladies who set up a stand at the farmers market to raise money for the LSPCA. We are so impressed with the considerable amount of money they have raised, which will go along way in helping us to continue our work to rescue sick and abused animals and provide food and veterinary care to the animals in our shelter.
Many farmers in Malawi depend on working animals, who are the hidden workforce that need recognition and care. During this year’s International Working Animal Day (IWAD), the LSPCA with support from the Donkey Sanctuary-UK, visits Dedza donkey owners to share best practices on donkey management.
You'll find us in Kanengo-Roberts/Area 28, on the outskirts of Lilongwe city. When driving from the city center/Lilongwe town on the M1, just passed Area 30 police, turn at Total filling station, then take your second turn to the right, then first turn left, and about 300 metres you'll see our signpost.
